So needed to sleep, considering I’d not had all that much over the past week, courtesy of Positano & Roma. So this entry will be quite short considering that I didn’t surface till about 11.30am. Although I’d originally woken at 6.30am, and then again around 8am when the resident fur babies were let into my room for a snuggle. They’re so cute! Henry loves to make a bed in the area that’s meant for the pillows. George stretches out and takes up half the bed.

I eventually head downstairs and have a very late breakfast and coffee. Paul and Ian are at work, but dad is back staying with them too so I chat with him over breakfast.
At this house there is a lovely spa bath, which courtesy of a broken shower, means it’s the only means of getting clean. I am so keen to soak and give my body a treat after walking and dancing my ass off for the last few weeks. It’s absolute heaven!!

Feeling a million dollars I head back downstairs and dad and I decide to head to the local pub for lunch. It’s a short walk down the road and is very typically an English pub, with friendly staff and hearty meals. Dad and I enjoy lunch, although I mistakenly ordered the ribs which was so big I couldn’t eaten it for 3 meals. When we’ve finished our meals, Paul shows up from work and takes us back home.
After a big feed and a pint of cider I am ready to nap (yes I know more sleep). I had hoped to blog and catch up but I couldn’t keep my eyes open. Seems I sleep for another 3 hours on the couch and awake to busy activity in the kitchen. It seems that we are going to have a curry for dinner ordered in from a couple of towns away. I am so excited about this because it’s one thing I never got to do last time I was here.
We all put our orders in and Ian will pick it up on his way home.
It’s safe to say we order more food than any of us could eat. But my goodness – the flavours!! What a lovely treat for my last supper with the guys. I’m going to miss them so much.
After dinner I do some research for my next trip (yes I know it’s never too soon) and find a great accommodation deal for Bali when I’m there in September with my youngest daughter. It’s a major difference in travel costs from here in Europe. I’ve found a hotel for 9 nights that will only cost me A$250 which includes breakfast.
We all chat a little more as the three of them also make plans for a trip to France for the weekend. It’s mostly to fill up their car with wine. How cool. I wish I was still around for the journey. But for me it’s time to head home tomorrow. So I cuddle Ian as I won’t see him in the morning. Then eventually retire to bed. Oh my last night here. I wish I had more time. Well I’ll just have to come back.
